Check your trip

Tell us the carrier, your pet, and each flight leg. We'll return a verdict per leg and overall.

We currently cover 22 airlines across Economy, Premium Economy, Business, and First Class. Some cabins are cloned from Economy with an unverified fallback note when no separate cabin rule is published. Routes are not individually validated. See the supported-airlines list.

β€ΊHow to measure your pet
Visual guide
Length: nose to base of tailHeight: floor to head/earsWidth: widest partthe shoulders or body
  • β€’ Do not include the tail in the length.
  • β€’ Measure while your pet is standing naturally.
  • β€’ Ears count if they are the highest point.
  • β€’ Your pet must be able to stand, turn around, and lie down in the carrier.

Length: measure from the nose to the base of the tail. Do not include the tail.

Standing height: floor to the top of the shoulders or head while your pet stands normally.

Width: across the widest point, such as shoulders or hips. Handy when comparing carriers.

Weight: weigh yourself holding your pet, then subtract your own weight. You can also use a pet scale.

Whatever carrier you choose, your pet must still be able to stand up, turn around, and lie down comfortably inside it.

3. Your itinerary

Add one leg per flight. Each leg is checked separately against its airline's rules.

β€ΊHow to find your airline, operating carrier and cabin

Airline (booking): the airline you bought the ticket from. It is on your confirmation email.

Operating carrier: who actually flies the plane. On a codeshare your itinerary says operated by. That carrier's pet policy is the one that applies, so set it here if it differs.

Cabin: economy, premium economy, business or first. It is shown on your ticket or fare details.

Flight number: on your confirmation, such as AC 856. It helps when under-seat space varies by aircraft.
